AN update on a proposal from a football club to create a full size 3G pitch in the Ribble Valley will be made at a community meeting tonight.
Clitheroe Wolves Football Club and the Lancaster Foundation are working in partnership with Ribble Valley Council to develop a football specific facility at Roefield Playing Pitches.
The proposal, which is estimated to cost £950,750, will include the creation of an outdoor pitch, alterations to the existing pavilion and refurbishment of the existing changing rooms.
Councillors will receive a detailed update on the proposal from organisers at Ribble Valley Council’s community meeting tonight.
The meeting will take place in the town hall, on Church Street, Clitheroe.
