The body of a soldier killed in a suspected hit- and-run crash in northern Greece is due to be flown back to the UK tonight.
Lance Bombardier Brett Walmsley, 25, of Greenway Street, Darwen, was struck by a car when he was crossing a country road in Halkidiki on Friday morning.
Brett's body will be escorted by The Royal Military Police to Manchester Airport.
He will be taken to Darwen Funeral Services' chapel.
A 22-year-old Greek man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
