A MAN has appeared in court accused of committing serious sexual offences against two women.
Sebastian James Alexander Egan, 32, of Tod Lane North, Lostock Hall, pleaded not guilty to one count of raping a woman and two counts of attempting to rape the same alleged victim. Those offences are alleged to have taken place in Burnley in 2015.
He also pleaded not guilty to an allegation he sexually assaulted a different woman in Market Harborough in July, 2016.
The case was adjourned until February 26 when Egan will stand trial at Burnley Crown Court. The trial is anticipated to last four days.
He was given conditional bail not to contact his alleged victims.
