A 20-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested for assaulting two females was found to have a small dagger type knife in his possession.
Ahmish Hussain, of Sherwood Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to assaulting Aleena Awan by spitting at her and assaulting Gemma Feast and possession of the dagger type knife in Darwen Street.
Jonathan Taylor, defending, said there had been an argument between Hussain and the two females and he accepted spitting on the back of one of them and landing a single push type blow on the other.
"The knife was found when he was arrested but there is no suggestion it was brandished or produced," said Mr Taylor.
