Stone Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle, where the rubbish fire broke out
Firefighter crews extinguished a fire involving a one-tonne bale of rubbish at a commercial premises this evening.
Two fire engines and crews from Hyndburn were called to the blaze at the site in Stone Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle at around 5.35pm.
Crews equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to put the fire out.
There were no casualties and the cause of the fire is unknown.
