A 65-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates and admitted making hundreds of internet pornographic images of children.
Philip Greenwood also admitted possessing extreme pornographic images, one of them involving a live, unknown animal.
Greenwood, of Allen Court, Burnley, pleaded guilty to making 123 category A images, 142 category B images and 68 category C images and two charges of possessing extreme pornographic images.
He was sent on bail to Burnley Crown Court where he will appear on October 4.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said some of the category A images depicted the rape of children between two and four years of age.
