Power cut
HUNDREDS of homes are without electricity after a power cut in Colne.
An Electricity Northwest spokesman said teams are en route to restore supplies to 287 homes with the BB8 postcode.
The spokesman said an overhead cable had become grounded.

The roads affected include Glenfell Gardens, Burnley Road, Primet Heights, New Street, Cliff Street, Hall Street, Ridehalgh Street and Barrowford Road.
He said: "Our engineers are working to have all supplies restored by 6pm this evening.
"We appreciate your patience."
