POLICE want to speak to a man after a staff member was racially abused at a railway station.
CCTV images have been released by British Transport Police following the incident in Blackburn station.
The victim, a rail staff member, was racially abused by a man after he challenged him regarding a ticket irregularity.
The incident happened by the ticket barriers on Saturday, July 22 at around 4.50pm.
After he racially abused the staff member, the man left via the front exit at the station.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak with in connection to the incident.
Anyone who knows who the man is, is asked to contact police by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 1700050045, and alternatively calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
