A HOSPITAL trust has been recognised for the support it offers the armed forces.
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of 12 organisations from across the North West who have received Silver Awards under the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
The ERS Silver Awards recognise organisations for their support for Service personnel, including employing members of the Armed Forces community, and showing flexibility towards training and mobilisation commitments for Reservists.
A number of staff also serve as army reservists and military veterans are employed at the trust.
Kevin Moynes, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development ELHT, said: "We're extremely proud that our work has been recognised with the ERS Silver Award."
