FANS are being given advanced notice of changes to access at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.

The East Lancshire rivals meet in the Carabao Cup second round with the Clarets fans arriving on coaches which wil give them direct access to the Bryan Douglas Darwen End Stand.

Home supporters with tickets for the Riverside Stand will only be able to access this part of the ground via Turnstile Block ‘B’, adjacent to the Ronnie Clayton Blackburn End Stand.

At the end of the game, supporters in the Riverside Stand will be able to exit at both ends, but those leaving at the Darwen End are advised that they will have to then use the ramp and rear of the stand to leave the stadium.

Spectators are advised to allow additional time to access the stadium, particularly for the Riverside Stand.

A Rovers spokesman said: “These arrangements, having been used at previous meetings between the two clubs, have been agreed between Blackburn Rovers and Lancashire Police for safety and security reasons. The club and police would like to thank spectators for their understanding and co-operation in this matter.”
