Police uncovered a cannabis factory at a house in Burnley Road, Padiham
A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested after police uncovered a "substantial amount of cannabis" at a house in Padiham.
Police raided the property in Burnley Road at around 1pm yesterday following tip-offs from the public.
The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis. He was in police custody yesterday (WEDNESDAY).
A police spokesman said: "Thanks to numerous members of the community passing information to the local neighbourhood police team, a drugs warrant has been executed at an address in Burnley Road, Padiham.
A substantial amount of cannabis plants were found and so far one male has been arrested. Well done Padiham residents!"
