POLICE have told a resident to "come and claim your cannabis" after breaking down their door and uncovering a cannabis farm.
Neighbourhood policing team officers found cannabis plants worth hundreds of pounds at a property in Ellis Street, Burnley, during a raid yesterday morning (TUESDAY).
Now they have invited the person responsible for the harvest to get in touch with them and discuss the issue.
A police spokesman said: "If you have a house on Ellis Street and have lost some cannabis, don't worry Trinity Neighbourhood Team have found it and are keeping it safe. When you get chance give PC 4121 a ring to discuss. PS, sorry about the door, we did knock first!"
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
