HAWORTH Art Gallery has presented its summer exhibition ‘Amazing Accrington’.
The exhibition is spread all over the gallery and includes the fascinating history of the East Lancashire Concert Band.
It also tells the story of Joseph Briggs, the Accrington print engraver who became Louis Comfort Tiffany’s right-hand man and gave the Tiffany glass collection to the people of Accrington.
While the gallery will also display a ‘Walk of Fame’ celebrating Accrington Celebrities past and present.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday between12 noon and4.45pm, Saturday, Sunday 12 noon to 4.15pm and closed all day Monday, with free entrance and parking.
