Firefighters rescued a cat after it became stuck in a flat during a blaze at sheltered accommodation in Nelson.
Fire crews were called to a fire in a ground floor flat at Ashiana Lodge, off Railway Street, shortly after 11am on Wednesday.
Nobody was hurt in the fire, which caused smoke damage to four rooms and a communal corridor.
