Fire engines in Blackburn town centre
FIREFIGHTERS are in Blackburn town centre this afternoon.
Crews from Blackburn Fire Station are carrying out routine safety checks at The Mall.
A fire service spokesman said: "A routine safety check was carried out on The Mall today.
"There was no fire and there was no need to be alarmed."
