MEN, women and children went for a nighttime stroll in memory of their loved ones.
The annual East Lancashire Hospice Starlight Memories Walk saw around 200 people complete the four-mile course wearing T-shirts bearing the name of the loved one they were taking part for. The event raised £13,650.
Fundraising manager Sharon Crymble said: “It was brilliant. We have had feedback from people who took part to say how moving it was and how much they enjoyed it. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all our volunteers and everybody who supported the event. A special mention to the East Ribble District Freemasons who provided stewards.”
After completing the course walkers lit a candle in memory of a loved one in the hospice garden. For upcoming events visit www.eastlancshospice.org.uk
