A CATS protection group has widened the area it covers.
The Burnley and Pendle Cats Protection charity, based in Nelson, is now serving the BB7 postcode area in the Ribble Valley, which includes Clitheroe and Whalley.
A spokesman said: “We cover the whole of Burnley and Pendle, Padiham, Rossendale, Bacup and now even better the whole of the BB7 postcode area.”
The charity is appealing for help in getting more cats neutered to prevent unwanted litters.
The spokesman added: “There is no need for cats to have unwanted litters - whether it’s pets, strays or ferals, we can help.
“We can directly issue neutering vouchers, so the more people who contact us the fewer unwanted kittens.
“We will do vouchers for male and female cats, indoor cats as well.
"We also have a choice of vets.”
The charity can be contacted for more information on 01282 693400.
