YOUNGSTERS have been invited to enjoy ‘Summer Arts Adventures’ at Blackburn Museum.
As well as having a fun and creative experience they can achieve Arts Awards as well.
Working with Blackburn based arts organisation Action Factory, children aged seven to 11 will be inspired to create stories, illustrations, drama and have fun with textiles.
All participants will make an amazing and unusual book to treasure and be part of a performance bringing the stories to life for families and friends.
Each child will achieve an Arts Award after the two-day session.
The adventures take place at Blackburn Museum, which children will have exclusive use.
The sessions run from 9.30am to 3pm and will take place on July 24 and 25 (Discover Award), July 31 and August 1 (Discover Award) and August 14 and 15 (Explore Award).
It costs £30 per child and booking is essential.
