A MAN has appeared in court accused of wounding two men and assaulting another.
Magistrates heard how Mark Anthony Aspin, of Higher Heys, Oswaldtwistle, allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded Colin Western with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on August 20.
On the same day 43-year-old Aspin is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded Jason McIntyre with intent to do him grievous bodily harm and assaulted Mark Draper thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm.
Blackburn Magistrates Court also heard Aspin allegedly used or threatened unlawful violence towards other persons and his conduct was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety.
No pleas were entered at the hearing.
Aspin was given unconditional bail to appear before a judge at Burnley Crown Court on July 19.
