A MUSEUM and arts gallery is set to hold a fashion fundraiser next month.
People have been invited to attend the ‘fabulous’ night of fashion, fun and fizz at The Whittaker Rossendale Museum and Art Gallery.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the restoration of the Whitaker Textile and Costumes Collection, which over the years has been donated almost entirely by people in Rossendale.
The collection gives a unique insight into local culture and traditions spanning the 19th and 20th centuries.
The event is also being held in association with Lucy Cobb, a luxury womenswear boutique based in Uppermill, Oldham.
Tickets will be limited, so people are asked to call or email the museum urgently on 01706 260785 or email info@thewhitaker.org.
The event takes place at the museum and arts gallery in Whittaker Park, Haslingden Road, Rawtenstall between 7pm and 9pm on July 7.
Tickets are £7.50 which includes a glass of prosecco and free raffle entry.
