A DOCTORS' surgery in Pendle has won praise from inspectors for improving its services.
Barrowford Surgery in Ridgeway has been graded 'good' in its latest newly published Care Quality Commission review.
That follows a 'requires improvement' verdict after an inspection in February 2016.
The key findings show the practice has an open and transparent approach to safety and an effective system for reporting and recording significant events.
Patients said they were treated with compassion, dignity and respect and found it easy to make an appointment with a named GP, while information about services and how to complain was available and easy to understand.
The report made some recommendations, including a review of drugs held in the practice for managing medical emergencies.
A CQC spokesperson said the surgery was performing well and meeting its expectations.
