A HEALTH walk is set to take place tomorrow.

The ‘ Hyndburn Stepping Out Evening Walk’, is two hours long over various terrains, and has been organised as part of ‘The Stepping Out Project.’

Organiser said stout footwear is recommended as well as suitable clothing for the weather conditions.

Participants have also been advised to take water or a drink in warm weather.

Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult and dogs are accepted on a lead.

There may also be some stiles on the route, so it is not suitable for pushchairs.

Organised by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Health Improvement Service and led by volunteers, The Stepping Out Project now has eight walks a week in Hyndburn, ranging from a 30 minute walk to a two-hour walk.

Wednesday’s walk takes place at 7pm but walkers have been asked to meet at 6.45pm in The Wellington, Barn Square, Clayton-le-Moors.

People can contact Hyndburn Stepping Out Walk for more information via Facebook or online at www.walkingforhealth.org.uk/walkfinder/hyndburn-stepping-out.

Everyone is welcome.
