A WOMAN was cut out of her car after a crash this afternoon.
The car and a van collided in the junction of Bolton Road and Pilling Lane in Chorley, trapping the driver of the car.
Two fire engines and crews from Chorley and Bamber Bridge attended the incident at around 3.17pm.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to release the woman from the car."
The woman was attended to by ambulance paramedics.
Her condition is unknown.
