AN appeal has been launched by police for witnesses to an alleged sexual assault.
It is said to have occurred at around 9.40am yesterday at Knotts Lane Pond.
Police are looking for help from anyone who may have information about a man said to have been involved.
Officers described him as white, in his late 20s, with receding short dark hair.
They also said he was more than six foot tall, of slim build and was wearing light blue and white chequered shorts.
The man had two Staffordshire bull terriers with him, one white and one black, police said.
A spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses or anybody who may have knowledge of a man involved in a suspicious incident."
No further details have been released regarding the age or condition of the alleged victim.
