A 75-YEAR-OLD man suffered head and face injuries after falling under a moving bus.
A police spokesman said the man got off a double decker bus on the X41 route near the Cafe Pearsons in Broadway, Helmshore, at around 5.45pm yesterday.
It is thought the man had fallen into the path of the bus under the nearside wheel.
A police spokesman said the man suffered significant head and facial injuries and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains.
Sgt Adam Dawson said: "This man has suffered serious injuries as a result of this incident and we would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and witnessed what happened to contact us."
