TICKETS are still available for the visit of feminist icon Germaine Greer to Darwen Library Theatre next month.
The 78-year-old will host a discussion evening entitled ‘Women For Life On Earth’ at the Knott Street venue on June 8 at 7.30pm.
Mr Greer, author of ‘The Female Eunuch’ is regarded as one of the most controversial personalities of our times and a major voice of the feminist movement.
The TV and radio personality, controversial agenda setting author, acclaimed academic, outspoken broadcaster and ground breaking publisher, will give the audience the chance to ask all their burning questions, serious or light hearted, from politics to poetry, the role of women in third world countries, to Shakespeare’s women or sex and the over sixties.
