TRIBUTES have been paid to a 'dearly loved' 92-year-old man following his death earlier this month.
Thomas Fort, from Bacup, suffered a chest injury and died in hospital following a crash in Rochdale Road.
Police released an appeal on Thursday about the incident and family members have now paid tribute to him.
They said: "He was dearly loved by his family and will be sadly missed by both them and all his friends.
"He leaves behind a lot of fond memories and a life lived to the full.
"He was a member of Bacup Golf Club and a keen gardener who took great pride in keeping his garden in tip top condition.”
