A DINNER in aid of The Poppy-Mai Foundation is to be staged next month at Ewood Park.

It will take place on Friday, May 12, from 7pm with tickets priced at £40.

Money raised on the night will be donated to the charity which was set up after the Blackburn youngster died of a rare form of cancer last year.

It will be hosted by former sports presenter Andy Ashworth and will include guest speaker and former Manchester United player Lee Sharpe and comedian Josh Daniels.

The dress code is black tie and guests will be treated to a three-course meal and a glass of bubbly on arrival.

There will also be a charity raffle and an auction.

The event is expected to finish at midnight.
