BARNOLDSWICK Town play their third fixture in four days when Barnton visit tonight and Danny Craig's side will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of wins.

Barlick are in the middle of a congested final week to the Hallmark Security League Premier Division season with home clashes against AFC Liverpool and Winsford United, on Thursday and Saturday respectively, still to come.

They began their five-game week with a fine comeback win at Hanley Town on Saturday before recording a convincing victory over Runcorn Town on Monday night.

In a game hit by sleet and snow Barlick made light of the conditions as they raced into a four goal lead thanks to a Kenny Taylor brace and goals from Aaron Hollindrake and Zak Dale.

Runcorn hit back but their two second half strikes were sandwiched by another from Dale for the home side and Jake Lloyd and Elliot Firth rounded off the scoring in the final 10 minutes.

Elsewhere on Monday, already relegated Nelson slipped to a 2-0 loss at Winsford United while Padiham secured a 3-0 victory over AFC Liverpool with Mark Coyne netting twice and Paddy O'Brien also on target. Steve Wilkes' side are back in action on Wednesday when they visit New Mills.

AFC Darwen are also in action on Wednesday when they host Irlam while in the first division Bacup Borough entertain Daisy Hill.
