A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision with a four-by-four vehicle on the outskirts of Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
Police have confirmed that a 28-year-old man from the Todmorden area was fatally injured in a crash between his bike and a Toyota Landcruiser on Long Causeway, Cliviger.
The rider, who has not been named, is then said to have collided with a Ford Fiesta, at around 4.30pm.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken by air ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
An investigation has been mounted by Lancashire Police’s road traffic unit and any witnesses are being asked to call the non-emergency number, 101.
