We asked our fans' jury: "What did you make of Rovers' results over Easter?"

WE have done enough to keep our survival hopes alive and fortunately, many clubs around us have not.

After the Nottingham Forest match it was buoyant and positive, 15 minutes into the Bristol City match that bubble had burst.

With all the talk of the importance of the match I found the approach to the game half-hearted, negative and somewhat apathetic. I’m just glad two of the three remaining games are away as we seemingly struggle being the team with the responsibility to dictate the tempo.

FOUR points were the absolute minimum we needed from the Easter matches but the contrast in performances was very worrying.

Given the Forest victory you would have expected the players to be raring to go against Bristol City. Instead we were lucky to get a point and witnessed a dire and flat performance that seems to defy explanation.

Rovers seem to reserve their worst displays for the home fans and start games as if the key has fallen out of their backs. We’ve had countless opportunities to get safe and spurned them all.

If you had offered me four points from a possible six before kick-off on Friday, I would have taken it. But the way we played, particularly in the first-half against Bristol City, was disappointing. A draw felt like a missed opportunity, as all three points would have taken us out of the bottom three. Psychologically that would have been a blow to Nottingham Forest, who suffered back to back defeats over the Easter weekend.

We did not play well against Forest either, but once Tommie Hoban scored, resolute defending got us over the line. That fighting spirit had evaporated by Monday, just like it disappeared at home to Barnsley the week before. We cannot only turn up for the last 15 minutes in any of our remaining games.

With just a point now separating Rovers and Forest, two wins could be enough to survive. All three of our fixtures are against teams with little to play for. It still won’t be easy against Wolves, Aston Villa or Brentford, especially with two away trips to make, but there is at least some hope.
