A CHARITY is calling for support to raise money at a second hand book fair.
Civic Pride Rossendale is looking to raise funds by selling secondhand stock at the Pendle Heritage Bookfair on Sunday, April 9.
People are being encouraged to donate books to its centre in Bury Road, Rawtenstall, so that it can raise money to support its plans to clean-up Rossendale.
A spokesman for Civic Pride said: “If by chance you found some books which you’ll never look at again I know just what you can do with them.
“We need more stock to raise more funds, buy more things and make Rossendale look even better.”
The charity will be selling items at the book sale at Pendle Heritage Centre from 10am until 3pm.
Anyone with any books to donate should email roger@civic-pride.org.uk or drop them in store.
