A BURNLEY nursery is holding a free Easter ‘Eggstravaganza' to raise cash for a charity which helps children with learning difficulties.
Little People Private Day Nursery in Piccadilly Road is holding the event on Saturday, April 8, from 10am to 2pm in support of Angelman Syndrome charity Assert.
There will be a variety of fun activities for children and grown-ups alike, including an Easter egg hunt, face-painting, Easter bonnet making, a raffle and games.
Nursery staff will collect funds for Assert, a charity that supports people with Angelman Syndrome, a chromosome disorder causing severe learning difficulties.
Manager Emma Spencer said: “Easter is a wonderful time for families to spend time together, and children love all the fun activities that come with this time of year. We wanted a free event that all of the families in our community could enjoy.”
