IT has been a gloomy over the past few days with plenty of rain but what is the outlook looking ahead towards the weekend.
The Met Office reports that Thursday morning will see early rain moving westwards on a brisk easterly wind.
We can expect drier and brighter conditions in the afternoon.
But you may not need a jumper or cardigan as it will feel a little less cold, despite the wind with a maximum temperature of 11C.
Looking ahead, to Friday to Sunday - it will be dry and breezy with sunny spells on Friday.
Then over the weeken on Saturday and Sunday it will be dry with light winds and pleasant in the sunshine by day, but frosty at night.
