A ROAD is set to be closed in Edgworth next month to allow for the installation of cabling for new street light connections.
Hob Lane will be closed to all traffic from a point 80 metres from its junction with Blackburn Road for a distance of 220 metres in a South West direction.

The closure will be in place from 8am on Tuesday, March 14, until 5pm on Thursday, March 16.
The closure may end before this time if the works are complete.
A diversion route will be put in place for affected traffic via Hob Lane, Blackburn Road, Bolton Road, Wellington Road, High Street, Greens Arms Road, Batridge Road, Overshores Road, Entwistle Hall Lane, Crow Trees Lane and Hob Lane.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
