TWO lanes of the M65 were closed after a van fire.
Police and firefighters were at the scene of the incident on the slip road of the westbound carriageway at junction six (Rishton).
The incident happened around 9.40am and involved a white Renault Traffic. Nobody was injured and the fire is not being treated as deliberate ignition.

A fire service spokesman said: "We were called at around 9.50am today by police to reports a van was on fire on the westbound sliproad of the M65, leading to the Rishton exit.
"One crew from Darwen attended and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Nobody was injured. The fire is not being treated as suspicious."
All lanes have since re-opened.
