He had denied three allegations of sexual assault and two counts of perverting the course of public justice.

A jury at Preston Crown Court deliberated for more than five hours but returned unanimous verdicts on all five counts.

Master, of Kirkland Close in Blackburn, was given bail and told to return to the same court on Monday (February 27) when he will be sentenced.

During the trial a jury was told Master, manager at the Griffin Head petrol station, Huncoat, sexually assaulted the first officer in December 2013 when she came to investigate an allegation of petrol theft.

While she was there the court heard that Master told the officer her breath smelled nice, touched her on the right cheek, said she was pretty and put an e-cig liquid bottle in her pocket. He also asked her out before she left, said prosecutor Richard Haworth.

In October 2014, the court heard the second female officer went to the garage to investigate another theft, unaware of the alleged incident the previous year.

Mr Haworth said she went into the office with Master and he placed his left arm by her right arm.

The court heard the defendant stood six inches away from officer as he gave her details of the theft.

Mr Haworth said: “He remarked how fit she looked and asked her whether she worked out. He asked to look at her abs. She told him no.”

The officer had to return to the garage later and Master touched her arm again, the jury was told.

While on bail the court heard Master attended a boxing match at Blackburn’s Audley Sports Centre on April 9.

Having been introduced to the third victim, Master‘loitered’ outside the female toilets waiting for her.

Mr Haworth said: “When the victim emerged the defendant grabbed her, as if to hug her.

“He lunged at her. Not content with that he grabbed her left breast.” He was charged with a third sexual assault but the court heard that on June 8 he went to the home of the third victim and tried to persuade her husband to drop the case.

Mr Haworth said: “He offered to pay the victim’s husband and said it was a mistake which had got out of hand.”

The jury was told on the same day Master sent a Facebook friend request and message to the second officer.

The prosecution said the message asked her to drop the charge and said Master had learnt his lesson and the proceedings had brought shame on the family.
