A MAN is being treated for 'severe smoke inhalation' after being pulled to safety from a house fire in Accrington.
Three fire crews attended the incident at Wellington Court, off Wellington Street, at around 10.20pm last night

It is believed the fire was caused by ‘smoking materials’.
Firefighters received a 999 call stating the house was full of smoke and the occupier could not get out.
North West Fire Control gave lifesaving advice to the man until the arrival of fire crews.
He was then rescued using breathing apparatus before he was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “The cause of the fire is thought to be smoking materials.
“The man was treated at scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital for severe smoke inhalation.
“He was suffering the effects of breathing smoke but his attendance at hospital was for a precautionary check.”
