AN investigation is being held into a house fire in Clitheroe.
The blaze took place at a property in Franklin Street at around 5.15pm on Saturday and was attended by two crews from Clitheroe fire station.
Firefighters found a fire involving textiles when they arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.
Crews were alerted to the incident after a neighbour heard the smoke alarm and dialled 999.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "One person was assessed by paramedics for smoke inhalation. An investigation is underway."
