Tom Heaton 5
Positioning not the best for the goal. Aside from that he didn’t have a shot to save.
Tendayi Darikwa 6 (Man of the Match)
One of the few bright spots of the game. Good run to set up Barton chance in the first half when he showed a smart turn of pace to reach the byline. Linked up well with Arfield in second half to tee up Gray for chance he scuffed.
Michael Keane 5
Had a pretty quiet game with Tarkowski the busier man. Was closest man to Raggett for goal though.
James Tarkowski 5
Seemed to be targeted by Rhead when the Imps went long. Had a shaky spell in the second half when he was rattled by Lincoln’s approach.
Jon Flanagan 3
A shadow of the player he was three years ago. Probably needs a run of games but his first touch and use of the ball was awful.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson 5
Only lasted 20 minutes before his injury so difficult to judge his display. Couldn’t have done any worse though.
Joey Barton 3
Tried to force the issue for Burnley but passing was loose and he got drawn into needless battles. Unusual to see in Burnley shirt.
Ashley Westwood 5
A contrast to Barton. Tried to steady the game and calm it down, but the hectic nature of it passed him by.
Scott Arfield 4
Wasted a couple of chances with wild slashes at goal which summed up a below par display.
Andre Gray 4
Has improved link-up play this season but his touch and passing on Saturday were miles off. Missed a couple of good chances.
Sam Vokes 4
Like many others he started the game slowly with some loose touches. Might have made a difference defensively for goal.
