A MAN accused of sexually assaulting two female police officers claims they are making the allegations up to get at his father.

Dad-of-three Faisal Master, 30, also told a jury that a sexual assault allegation made by a third woman are ‘a pack of lies’ and ‘financially motivated’.

A jury at Preston Crown Court had earlier heard the allegations against the two officers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, relate to offences which are said to have taken place in the back office at the Griffin Head petrol station in Huncoat.

Master was manager of the station at the time.

While awaiting trial over those allegations he is said to have sexually assaulted a third woman at a boxing event at Audley Sports Centre in Blackburn on April 9, last year.

As the alleged victim, who also cannot be named, left the toilets of the premises Master, of Kirkland Close, Blackburn, is said to have grabbed her and squeezed her left breast.

But when asked by defence barrister Ian Whitehurst for his versions of events Master said he had been in the corridor where the toilets were because it was the only quiet place to take a phone call.

He also said the alleged victim had come towards him to move out of the way of a man coming through doors.

Master said: “She moved over of her own accord. I didn’t grab her, as claimed. She came in for a hug. I thought her husband’s been constantly hugging me and now she is hugging me.

“I just thought that’s what they do. It must be customary in their family or something.

“It was completely consensual. It lasted about 15 or 20 seconds.

“I didn’t try to kiss her. I absolutely didn’t try to touch her breast.”

Master, who said he had been introduced to the woman by her husband earlier in the night who was a customer at the petrol station, said the couple kept talking to him about money.

While on bail for the third allegation Master is accused of approaching the alleged victim’s husband in an attempt to ‘buy him off’ on June 8 last year.

When asked about that Master said he had been delivering promotional leaflets in the vicinity of the garage following a major refurbishment and approached the house without knowing who lived there or the name of his accuser at that stage.

Master said: “I didn’t apologise. I didn’t offer him money to drop the case. That is completely untrue.

“I said I know what this is about. You’re just after the compensation.

“But you’re not getting a penny out of us”.

The court heard the first offence is said to have taken place in December 2013 when the first officer went to the petrol station regarding an alleged make-off offence.

While she was there Master is alleged to have told the officer her breath smelled nice, touched her on the right cheek, said she was pretty and put n e-cig liquid bottle in her pocket.

Although he said he couldn’t remember the officer’s visit, he denied all the allegations and described the breath accusation as ‘absurd’.

In October 2014, the second officer is said to have gone to the garage over an alleged theft when Master touched her arm twice and called her fit. He denied those allegations.

Asked why he thought the officers had made the claims, Master told the court that he believed they were being directed by more senior officers who were ‘out to get his father’, former deputy police and crime commissioner Ibrahim Master.

When asked by prosecutor Richard Haworth why he believed the officers were lying Master said: “It’s all to do with the investigation into my dad, That failed. Obviously they have been propped up by more senior officers to make up allegations about me.”

On April 19, last year, Master is alleged to have set up a fake Facebook profile, contacted one of the officers purporting to be a family friend and pleading with her to drop the case.

He denied that, said he had talked to many “trusted” people about the case and even told them the names of the complainants.

Master denies three allegations of sexual assault and two of perverting the course of public justice. The trial continues.
