POLICE called to a domestic incident in Great Harwood spoke to a 25-year-old man and decided to give him a lift to his grandma's to allow the situation to defuse.
Blackburn magistrates heard initially Joshua Chadwick was calm but as the travelled towards Blackburn he became increasingly agitated.

The court was told he threatened to urinate in the police car, tried to get out while the car was being driven at speed, tried to smash the window with his elbow and shouted abuse at the officers who eventually stopped the car and arrested him for being drunk and disorderly.
Chadwick, formerly of Glebe Street, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £80 with £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge.
Chadwick told the court he would like to apologise for his behaviour.
