Livesey shouted at her that he was Declan Livesey and then asked her what was his name.

She had to answer him twice before heading towards her front door.

“As she tried to open her door he ran towards her again and she was hit hard on the back of the head,” said Philippa White, prosecuting.

“He was subsequently arrested because he had given his name during the assault.”

Livesey, 20, of Marsden Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to assaulting Tracey Jackson causing her actual bodily harm and damaging her car.

He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Conditions of bail include not to enter Rishton or contact the aggrieved.

Mrs White said Ms Jackson had been in bed when she was woken by a loud bang in the early hours.

She looked out to see damage had been caused to her car and saw the defendant walking away,” said Mrs White.

After kicking Ms Jackson twice in the stomach Livesey shouted ‘I’m not a bully,’ before punching her in the face.

During the incident that followed he was dancing round like a boxer.

Jonathan Taylor, defending, said: “He has no recollection of the incident and can offer no explanation other than alcohol.”
