A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on a major Blackburn through road.
The crash, involving a Fiat 100 and a Mercedes Sprinter van, happened on Barbara Castle Way at the junction with the Thwaites Brewery at 7.35am.

The road was partially blocked and caused delays for commuters.
The female driver of the Fiat was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with chest injuries.
Blackburn with Darwen Highways were called because of an oil spillage.
No arrests have been made.
