A CUSTOMER at a hairdressers supply wholesaler stole hair extensions worth £253.
Blackburn magistrates heard Paula Pickup had an account at the store and was easily recognised when staff viewed CCTV which had captured the theft.

Pickup, 45, of Barn Meadow Crescent, Rishton, pleaded guilty to theft from Sally’s. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £253 compensation.
Richard Prew, defending, said: "Pickup had previously run her own tanning studio and had a card for Sally’s.
“She can’t give me any explanation for why she did this.” said Mr Prew.
“I asked her if there are any underlying problems and she says not.”
