TWO police officers were injured after crashing into a lamppost in Blackburn.
The incident occurred just before 9.30am yesterday on the Brownhill roundabout.
The officers were on their way to Padiham to assist colleagues who had spotted a suspicious car.

Both officers sustained minor injuries and were taken to Accrington Victoria Hospital.
One businesswoman, who works in a nearby florist, said: “I have worked here 20 years and I must’ve seen about 80 crashes in that time on that roundabout.
“The lights are not synced well at all, it’s a dangerous roundabout.”
Zara Eccles, 27, who lives nearby, said: “I’ve lived here since June and I’ve already seen plenty of incidents.
“I have just passed my test and I am terrified of driving around here it’s so dangerous.”
Investigations are underway into the accident’s cause.
