A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a break-in at a Darwen home.
Officers launched an appeal earlier today to help identify a couple after a purse containing several bank cards was stolen from a house in Stopes Brow, Lower Darwen, sometime between 5.30am and 1pm on Friday, November 25.

The cards were then used to purchase more than £400 worth of items at several shops, including Go Outdoors in Blackburn and the Asda stores in Blackburn and Accrington, police said.
A police spokesman said: "Following our appeal re the burglary at Stopes Brow, Darwen, a 25-yr-old woman from Blackburn has been arrested on suspicion of burglary."
