FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire in Padiham last night. (NOV 20)
At 9.40pm, a crew from Burnley attended Kingsley Avenue after the flue of a woodburner caught fire.
A fire service spokesman said: "The team put the fire out with a bucket of water and were there for around 45 minutes.
"No one was injured and there was minimal damage."
