A TEENAGER arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed close to Blackburn Cathedral in a daylight robbery has been released without charge, police have confirmed.
The 17-year-old from Blackburn was arrested on suspicion of wounding following the incident which happened at around 5pm on September 8.

He was due to answer bail today but police said he has now been released without charge.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the incident which saw the 15-year-old slashed across the chest.
He suffered a two-inch wound and had to have stitches before being released from Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The incident occurred in the alleyway near the Premier Inn at the heart of the town’s £34million development just hours after the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, launched the county’s Crossroads Mission.
A passer-by said they were shocked to see an incident so close to the cathedral.
