A MAN was left with facial injuries after a 'nasty attack' in Chorley last night.
A police spokesman said the 47-year-old had walked past Iceland supermarket in Market Walk, at 11pm and was attacked by two young men.
The man suffered injuries to his cheek and right eye after being punched.
The man walked to Chorley Bus Station before calling for help before he was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
PC Nick Steenbergen, of Chorley Police, said: "This was a nasty attack which left the victim very shaken and distressed.
"We would be keen to talk to anyone who was in the Market Street area around the time of the offence.
"If you saw anyone or anything unusual, or witnessed the attack, please call police immediately."
